Reported evidence.
CJ ENM announced an expanded Prime Video India partnership covering more than 100 Korean titles over two years, including 26 new series. The English release says the new titles will receive English subtitles and Hindi, Tamil and Telugu dubbing. It does not disclose licence consideration or title-level profitability.

Investment interpretation.
A library becomes more economically useful when it can be licensed again in a new language and territory without reproducing the original work. But localization is an incremental production asset with its own costs and ownership. The meaningful unit is the net territorial licence contribution, not total potential viewers or the headline number of titles.
Economic assessment.
Separate new-series obligations from older library licences. Allocate dubbing, subtitling, delivery and marketing according to the contract, then examine payment timing. Twenty-six divided by an imprecise 100-plus total would not establish an exact new-content percentage; we keep the supplied quantities without inventing a precise mix.
Geographic analysis.
China
DSML comparisonThe Indian rights grant does not establish Chinese availability. Local approvals and retained rights must be tested independently before assuming the same library can be licensed.
Japan
DSML comparisonCompare territorial contribution after local adaptation and platform participation. A familiar Korean series may have different remaining rights and licensing windows in Japan.
Other Asia
Reported connectionIndia is the named market, with three regional dubbing languages. Language scope matters economically because adaptation spending and reachable audiences are not uniform.
United States
DSML comparisonA global platform counterparty does not make this a US licence. Revenue attribution should follow contracted territories and collection obligations.
Europe
DSML comparisonExisting international availability may constrain windows or exclusivity. Check European licences before assuming the same titles remain freely monetizable everywhere.
Counterpoint.
A large slate can tie up rights and delivery resources without strong contribution if the contract requires expensive localization or restrictive windows.
